A bit about this site, and me...
For me, this is not a business. I'm a hobbyist who happens to sell :
- Red Wiggler worms (Eisenia Fetida)
Soon I'll offer Canadian Nightcrawlers.
I guess you can say my fascination with worms began in 2015. At that time, I used to keep pet turtles, and I still do. I wanted to figure out a way to provide my pet turtles with an ongoing supply of food. After a little research, I landed on worms. And it worked like a charm! They breed rapidly, and they're very easy to care for. After I successfully bred them for my turtles, I started exploring the other applications for breeding these worms (fishermen who need live bait, vermicomposting, gardening, etc.). I've been breeding them ever since.
I always encourage people to pick these worms up locally, because there's no surprises (you know exactly what you're getting at the time of purchase). Although it hasn't happened yet, I would hate to have one of my customers open up a pack of worms & be disappointed with the number of worms they're getting.
It also gives me a chance to hear about your application for these worms & answer any questions you may have. That is, if you're open for a discussion. Some people just like to pay for their worms & be on their way. Nothing wrong with that! And other people like to shoot the breeze with me when they come to pick up their worms, with a little Q&A.
I always enjoy answering questions from customers. I've had the privilege of learning quite a few things about vermicomposting just by talking to my customers (hearing their stories) and of course with all the wonderful resources available to me (YouTube, online forums, books, etc.).
So if you end up buying worms from me, please know that my door is always open to you (yes, even after the sale!) :)
If you ever have any questions or comments, I want to hear from you.
